At our combined Communications/CRCC meeting on 4/22/2020, we had discussed George Lakoff and his work concerning the importance of using language that sticks with people (my term).
One of the Values of the Dover Democrats is "Responsible Citizenship." We claim that "Responsible citizenship demands we work to build a better world by ensuring social, economic, and environmental justice for everyone." Can people list ways we might do this, with a careful eye towards the use of language, in things like Social Media Posts, letters to the editor (LTEs), public speeches, etc.?
