Sign holders, canvassers, drivers, lawn sign hosts, those who shared information on social media, wrote letters to the editor, helped train and recruit candidates, and on and on. Pole sign holders at Ward 5 Now Comes Our Next Challenge REDISTRICTING & GERRYMANDERING Today the Republicans on the NH House Special Committee on Redistricting released their proposed map for the state's two Congressional districts. Their proposed map is heavily gerrymandered, moving many Seacoast towns (including Dover) into District 1, while moving many southern-tier towns into District 2. The goal is clearly to pack Democrats into CD 1 and Republicans into CD 2. There will be public hearings next week on the maps proposed by committee members of both parties: Tue Nov 9, 10am and Wed Nov 10, 5pm, both in Concord.
